Caroline Hadley

Psychodynamic Counsellor

Practice Name

Caroline Hadley Counselling

Specialism / Area of Focus

People come to counselling for many different reasons. I have worked with clients with issues including anxiety, depression, loss, neglect and neurodiversity. What is important to me is building up a trusting therapeutic relationship in which we can explore what unfolds.

Therapeutic Approach

As a psychodynamic counsellor I am interested in how how our early experiences have shaped us and how this may be seen in current patterns of behaviour. These patterns may have served us well in the past but may not do so now. Together we can explore how these unconscious processes may be affecting our current situation, and what we can do to bring about lasting change.

Who Do You Support

Individual adults. I work on both a short term and long term basis.

When / Where Are You Available

Tuesday PM at the Treatment Hub

Other days and times available, please enquire.

Therapist Bio

I have been a qualified psychodynamic counsellor for over ten years, working with clients with many different issues in both a generalist counselling service and now in private practice. I offer a safe and confidential therapeutic space where we can explore and make sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. I am a qualified member of BACP (British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists) and my work is regularly supervised. I regularly attend training events and lectures to keep my practice up to date. Every client I have worked with has extended my experience and has helped me deepen the understanding that I can offer.
