Therapist Bio

“Helping you find your way, one step at a time”

I’m Helen (MBACP), an experienced psychodynamic counsellor providing individual therapy for adults (18+) both in-person and online.

My approach centres on providing a calm and welcoming space where you’ll be truly met, heard and understood. I offer a collaborative space where we can gently start to explore your feelings and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

Over the years, I’ve supported individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of trauma – both recent and rooted in the past. Whatever you’re experiencing – whether it’s in response to something specific or a more general sense of feeling stuck – you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can start to make sense of what’s happening for you, helping you move towards meaningful, lasting change and a more fulfilling way of living.

I understand that taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear starting point – just a want to begin. If this feels like the right next step for you, I warmly invite you to get in touch so we can explore working together.

I offer in-person sessions at The Treatment Hub on Thursday afternoons and online sessions throughout the week, providing flexibility to suit your needs.
